Ambe Group was founded in 1982 by Mr. Shovakar (Hari) Neupane. What began as a trading firm quickly grew into one of Nepal’s leading businesses.

In 2004, the Group moved into manufacturing with the launch of Ambe Cement. Since then, it has expanded into banking, real estate, food, property development, and steel. Today, Ambe Group runs 10 subsidiaries, employs more than 4,000 people, and generates over NPR 30 billion (USD 300 million) in annual turnover.

Our Timeline

Ambe Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Nepal, was established in the year 1982. With the initial inception comprising of importing electronics and garments from Hong Kong and Singapore, the group gradually made its way up and by the year 1985, had grown into one of the largest trading firms in Nepal.
